SSE have announced a funding opportunity for young people who will be undertaking STEM-related courses at university or college in the coming year and who live within the community council areas of the Stronelairg and Dunmaglass Scholarship Programme (Strathdearn, Strathnairn, Stratherrick & Foyers, Fort Augustus & Glenmoriston, Laggan, Glengarry, and Spean Bridge, Roy Bridge & Achnacarry). 

The programme is currently open and closes on 13th September. It offers two awards of £5,500 per year. The applications are made online via the SSE website Scholarships and skills funds | SSE Renewables.  An information sheet which has a QR code for the fund can be found below.
