In line with the UK Government guidance (published on 10 March 2025), the current total lifetime value of this fund is £1.05 million and is associated with the following project infrastructure:
- Aberarder Wind Farm Substation – Existing Dunmaglass 132kV Overhead Line
- Aberarder Wind Farm Substation
- Corriegarth 2 Wind Farm Substation
The attached presentation details the process and more information on the fund. Currently, we’re in the area research and early engagement phase and more details on the consultation will be shared in due course. The consultation will include in-person and online sessions and an online survey which will define:
- The area of benefit for the fund (where funding should be available)
- The priorities for the fund (what matters most to your community and how the money should be used)
- The structure of the fund (duration and level of funding available for community projects)
It’s important to note that no decisions have been made regarding the structure and priorities of the fund yet – the fund will be shaped using community feedback from the online survey.
